| Finnish Championship in
Obedience, Teams, Piikkiö 7.7.2007
Our first competition and immediately
we go for the Finnsih championship competitions. Well, why be modest...
we're aiming high from the start...
We participated in Team Auran Nuuskut in the beginers class. There were
89 (!!!) participant sin this class and we ended up on a 86th place,
wow...
Our competition started out quite well, but for each movement I became
more nervous and Selma started to behave silly. And to top things of,
the competion took place on grass... We have never trained on grass
before, Selma walked around with her nose in the grass for the whole
time... Nice!
Well, next time we'll be better prepared...

During this movement the dog should follow
heel unleashed/or on leash (the owner could decide) a certain patterned
that contained some running, sitting, laying down... I decided to keep
Selma on leash. The end of the following went great, the beginning not
so great. She was sniffing the ground to much. I suspect that the whole
thing would have gone much better if I'd kept her unleashed. |

retrieve. We (I) chose a small dumbbell. Our problem here was that
Selma do retrieve, but she do not bring the object all the way to me. |
